We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Draftsman with 4–5 years of experience in landscape architecture to support the design team in preparing accurate technical drawings and construction documentation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of landscape detailing, drafting standards, and coordination with design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed landscape drawings, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading plans, and construction details.
Develop and revise CAD drawings based on design inputs and project requirements.
Coordinate with landscape architects and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and BOQ support drawings.
Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and project specifications.
Incorporate revisions received from clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain drawing records and project documentation.
Required Skills
4–5 years of drafting experience in landscape architecture or allied fields.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage.
Positive understanding of landscape construction, hardscape, and softscape detailing.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and landscape drawings.
Robust attention to detail and time management skills.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
