Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accountant role based in Anand. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, preparing reports for management, and collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial insights.



The Accountant is expected to maintain organized financial records, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls.

Qualifications
Robust knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, including working with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data.
Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the region.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in office in Anand, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role; experience in FMCG, retail, or organic products industry is a plus.
