Job Overview The fund manager role to support the Africa Division as the fund manager and custodian managing funds end to end. This role oversees funds establishment, deployment, financial review, impact and entire life cycle of funds. Develops fund management and reporting to ensure that complete fund management and internal stake holder management.
Manages and maintains existing approved fund pipeline on an on-going basis, including internal stakeholder management. This role offers chance to lead and engage in all aspects of fund management– collaborating with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have experience in fund management, reporting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Understands overall market strategy, industry trends and internal customer needs around fund management across Africa division.
Set up and document operational process around management of funds/budget.
Facilitate the process of periodic management committee meeting.
Coordinate fieldwork for assignments with the stakeholders by developing project plans, fieldwork • Task schedules, scheduling and preparing for stakeholder meetings and gathering documentation, and liaising with all internal stakeholders.
Manage the financial and contract management, supported by the Project Management Unit.
Validate the completed requests for approval as per Fund/Budget governance. Job Requirements
