Role & responsibilities
Lead the organization's end-to-end GST compliance, including review and timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other statutory returns.
Manage GST audits, departmental assessments, investigations, and litigation, including drafting responses to notices and coordinating with legal and tax consultants.
Review and approve tax reconciliations with financial statements and ensure readiness for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Build robust relationships with GST authorities, auditors, consultants, and industry forums to facilitate effective tax administration.
Develop MIS reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting tax positions, compliance status, risks, and prospects.

Preferred candidate profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
CMA or MBA (Finance) with significant experience in indirect taxation may also be considered.
SAP is mandatory.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Robust communication and presentation skills with the ability to advise senior management.
