Role Description The Accountant at The Biryani Store is responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities to support smooth operations and informed decision-making. This full time, in office role based in Kochi includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and preparing regular financial reports.

The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting, monitor cash flow, and support compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating with management and external partners, resolving accounting discrepancies,



and contributing to process improvements in finance and administration.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in bookkeeping, general accounting, and financial reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and basic ERP or POS financial modules.
Candidates should possess knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance standards, and internal control practices.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.

Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in retail, food service, or hospitality, is beneficial.
