The Associate Scientist in the Materials team plays a key role in executing assigned tasks related to shipment and sample management.
Manage end-to-end shipment and sample-related activities within APAC R&D; (Materials).
Oversee the complete lifecycle of sample shipments, including documentation for both export and import of materials.
Collaborate with requesters and logistics personnel to gather all required shipment and customs documentation.
Prepare and provide all necessary documents for customs clearance.
Coordinate with shipment vendors, Custom House Agents (CHA), and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth clearance and streamline shipping operations.
Handle payments to shipment vendors, including processing and verification of tax invoices.
Manage raw material samples, including segregation, sampling, labeling, dispatch to external laboratories, and proper disposal when required
