Role & responsibilities
Set up application architecture standards and governance structures.
Develop architectural solutions for recent applications and changes to existing applications.
Translate enterprise business requirements into technical application solutions.
Create high-level and low-level design documents, including UML-based designs.
Develop technical SOPs for application rollout and operations.
Define metrics to measure application performance.
Create enterprise-wide application architecture ensuring reliability, scalability, manageability, and security compliance.
Define current-state application solutions and identify target-state improvements and trade-offs.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
Develop POCs, case studies, and demo presentations for emerging technology areas.
Define coding standards, design patterns, and application architecture best practices.
Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Address performance bottlenecks and ensure application scalability and reliability.

Preferred candidate profile




Ability to create and evaluate reference architectures.
Ability to ensure enterprise-wide buy-in, adoption, adherence, and compliance with application architecture.
Expertise in Java technologies or .NET technologies and middleware technologies.
Experience with open-source frameworks such as Flutter for multi-platform application development from a single codebase.
Knowledge of cross-platform mobile application development tools such as IBM MEA/Kony.
Expertise in up-to-date user interface frameworks.
Expertise across operating systems such as AIX, Linux, and Windows.
Ability to train teams and prepare presentations.
Preferable hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Mega Hopex, Avolution ABACUS, Planview, and Orbus iServer.
Experience in LLM-based RAG systems and agentic workflow frameworks.
Experience with Vector DBs, semantic search, and event-driven AI interactions.
Ability to apply governance, security, and enterprise integration capabilities in AI-enabled
