Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ATE Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Hardware Interface Board (HIB) and Probe Card design for semiconductor testing. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in schematic design, PCB layout coordination, signal integrity, power integrity, and simulation for high-speed ATE applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Hardware Interface Boards (HIBs) for semiconductor ATE platforms.
Design, review, and support Probe Card solutions for wafer-level testing.
Perform schematic capture and work closely with PCB layout engineers to ensure manufacturable designs.
Conduct Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and high-speed simulations to validate board performance.
Analyze high-speed interfaces and optimize routing, impedance, and timing.
Collaborate with test, product, package, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
Debug and validate HIBs and probe cards during bring-up and characterization.
Support design verification, failure analysis, and engineering change requests (ECRs).




Prepare design documentation, BOMs, test reports, and engineering release packages.
Ensure compliance with ATE platform and customer design guidelines.

Required Skills
Robust experience in HIB (Hardware Interface Board) and Probe Card design.
Experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne and/or Advantest.
Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or equivalent.
Positive understanding of high-speed digital design, controlled impedance, DDR/SerDes interfaces, and power distribution networks.
Knowledge of semiconductor test methodologies and wafer/package testing.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with semiconductor product bring-up and characterization.
Knowledge of DFT, package design, and reliability testing is an added advantage.
