Role Purpose:

Lead the Electrical Design function for Consumer Electronics automation and manufacturing projects, ensuring the delivery of protected, innovative, cost-effective, and standardized electrical solutions while driving technical excellence, project execution, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Electrical Design team for automation, assembly, testing, and manufacturing projects.
Define electrical design standards, architecture, and best practices across projects.
Review and approve electrical schematics, panel designs, BOMs, cable layouts, and safety circuits.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, machine safety requirements, and customer specifications.
Collaborate with Controls, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project teams for seamless project execution.
Drive standardization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and capability development for the design team.




Support customer discussions, technical proposals, and current technology adoption.
Ensure projects are delivered within quality, cost, and timeline targets.

Key Skills & Competencies
Solid expertise in Electrical Design, Control Panels, Power Distribution, Servo Systems, Industrial Networks, and Machine Safety.
Knowledge of EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical and relevant electrical standards.
Technical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution capabilities.
Strategic planning and team development mindset.

Qualification & Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
20+ years of experience in Electrical Design for Industrial Automation/SPM/Consumer Electronics manufacturing, with proven leadership experience.
