Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development and support. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in COBOL, DB2, RPG/RPGLE, and legacy system modernization initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical applications while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400/iSeries platform.
Develop and support programs using COBOL, RPG, RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform impact analysis, code reviews, debugging,



and performance tuning of existing applications.
Develop and optimize DB2 queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and operational procedures.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
