We are looking for a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to work directly with the Director of our Adaptable Packaging Division. This role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating across departments, tracking key business activities, following up on critical tasks, and ensuring timely execution of business priorities.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling multiple responsibilities, maintaining accountability across teams, and supporting business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Coordination
Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchase, Planning, Quality, Dispatch, Accounts, and HR.
Track daily business activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Follow up with internal teams and vendors until closure.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Sales & Customer Support
Coordinate customer enquiries and quotations.
Track order status from enquiry to dispatch.
Maintain customer communication and provide timely updates.
Assist in preparing presentations and business proposals.
Production & Planning
Coordinate production schedules with the factory.
Track pending orders and dispatch commitments.
Monitor production progress and escalate delays.
Ensure inter-department communication remains smooth.
Purchase & Vendor Coordination
Follow up with suppliers for deliveries.
Maintain purchase trackers.
Coordinate with vendors for documentation and payments.
Management Reporting
Prepare dashboards and reports for management.
Maintain action trackers for meetings.
Record MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and ensure execution.
Documentation
Maintain contracts, quotations, approvals, and significant records.
Organize digital filing systems.
Ensure proper documentation of operational processes.
Process Improvement
Identify operational bottlenecks.
Recommend process improvements.
Help implement SOPs and standard reporting systems.
