Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full time, in office role based in Bengaluru South. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients and institutional partners, managing lead generation activities, and maintaining a solid sales pipeline.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings; presenting Cogniza’s training and internship offerings; and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to closing. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to tailor solutions for academic institutions and corporates,



preparing proposals and presentations, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to market research and competitive analysis.

Qualifications
Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship management.
Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex offerings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Organizational and analytical skills, including pipeline management, use of CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making.
Basic marketing and outreach skills, such as email campaigns, event support, and social media coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; relevant internships or experience in education, EdTech, or services is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru South, with readiness for client meetings and occasional travel as required.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
