We are seeking an experienced Billing Engineer with specialized expertise in Government Billing and Infrastructure Contracts to join our team in Nagpur. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, quantity takeoffs, and preparing rigorous billings strictly compliant with government norms, PWD guidelines, and tender specifications.

Role & responsibilities
Government Bill Preparation & Verification: Prepare and process Running Account (RA) bills, escalation bills, extra item statements, and final bills in accordance with government formats (e.g., Measurement Books - MB, CPWD/State PWD guidelines).
Measurement & Quantity Surveying: Accurately record and calculate quantities based on structural/architectural drawings, site measurements, and official Measurement Books (MB).
Tendering & Cost Estimation: Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, detailed estimates, Rate Analysis, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) aligned with standard schedule of rates (SSR).
Cost Control & Financial Monitoring: Track project costs,



monitor departmental budgets, manage secure advance deductions, and ensure timely processing of payments as per government contract clauses.
Departmental Coordination & Documentation: Maintain systematic billing records, reconciliation statements, and project documentation required for government audits, arbitration, and departmental clearances.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: B. Tech in Civil Engineering is preferred.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, estimation, and cost control, with proven hands-on experience handling government/public sector infrastructure projects (e.g., PWD, CPWD, NHAI, or local municipal bodies).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of government tendering procedures, contract conditions (e.g., CPWD/State PWD manuals), MB recording, and Rate Analysis.
