Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer with solid expertise in Sheet Metal Design to develop, modify, and optimize sheet metal components and assemblies. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating manufacturable designs, preparing detailed drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely project delivery.
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
Prepare flat patterns, bend tables, and fabrication drawings.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
Modify existing designs based on engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams during product development.




Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and company design guidelines.
Support prototype development, testing, and design validation

Required Skills
Robust proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Module.
Knowledge of:
Sheet Metal Design
Flat Pattern Generation
Bend Allowance Bend Deduction
GDT (ASME Y14.5)
Tolerance Analysis
DFM DFA principles
Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings as per standards.
Valuable understanding of fabrication and welding processes.
Experience in creating BOMs and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) systems is an advantage.
