Role Description The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying bills for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Daily tasks include preparing BOQs, performing quantity take-offs, coordinating with site engineers for measurement verification, and maintaining up-to-date billing records.

The role involves rate analysis, checking and reconciling contractor bills, and supporting project managers with cost reports and documentation. This is a full time, on-site role based in Barnala,



requiring close coordination with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and exact billing.

Qualifications
Robust knowledge of BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying to manage project quantities and measurements.
Hands-on experience with Billing Systems and processes for contractor and client billing.
Ability to perform Rate Analysis and cost comparisons for materials, labor, and services.
Solid Analytical Skills to review project data, detect discrepancies, and support cost control.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant construction/billing software.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work on-site in Barnala.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with site, design, and accounts teams.
Prior experience in infrastructure or construction billing will be an advantage.
