Role & responsibilities
Develop, program, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC
Maintain and optimise PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automation systems.
Attend machine breakdowns and perform root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of automation equipment.
Commission recent machines and support automation improvement projects.
Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication networks (PROFINET/PROFIBUS/Modbus).
Maintain PLC backups, electrical drawings, and automation documentation.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve machine performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).




Support continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, and process optimisation.

Preferred candidate profile
Mandatory hands-on experience with Siemens PLC (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500, STEP 7).
Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, industrial automation, and electrical control systems.
Experience in PLC programming, machine troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with PROFINET/PROFIBUS/Modbus communication protocols.
Understanding of IATF 16949, TPM, Kaizen, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
