Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead end-to-end quality assurance and test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and CI/CD practices, with a proven track record of designing and building automation frameworks from scratch. This role requires ownership of testing strategy, automation architecture, and quality assurance across the software development lifecycle.Must-Have Skills

Solid hands-on experience with Playwright
Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills
Robust experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development) frameworks
Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery practices
Experience with test automation strategy and framework architecture

Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and quality governance.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and related tools.




Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and release validation.
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including:
Risk-based testing
Acceptance criteria-based testing
Functional and non-functional testing approaches
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
Produce, maintain, and enhance testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and framework documentation.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
Monitor, track, and communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics.
Mentor team members and drive best practices in automation and quality engineering.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
Expert knowledge of Selenium and Playwright.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and continuous testing practices.
Demonstrated ability to build automation frameworks from the ground up.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
