Job Summary
Catalyst Education is seeking an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth, generate admissions, and expand strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the EdTech industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop current business opportunities to increase student admissions.
Build solid relationships with schools, colleges, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and institutional tie-ups.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to admission closure.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to maximize lead conversions.
Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM database.
Analyze market trends,
competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Represent the organization at educational events, seminars, and career fairs.
Requirements
2–5 years of Business Development or Sales experience in the EdTech industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
