Job Summary Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Eruma and Hindustan CNC Press Brake/Bending Machines to produce sheet metal components as per engineering drawings while achieving quality, safety, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities Program Erumac and Hindustan CNC bending machines.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and 2D/3D part drawings.

Select suitable punches, dies, and tooling based on material and bend requirements.

Set machine parameters such as bend angle, bend sequence, back gauge, pressure, and speed.

Perform first-piece inspection and obtain quality approval before production.

Operate the machine to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.

Check components using Vernier caliper, height gauge, angle gauge, bevel protractor, and other measuring instruments.

Understand bend deduction, bend allowance, K-factor, and spring-back compensation.

Minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.





Perform machine troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance.

Maintain production records and ensure 5S, safety, TPM, and quality standards.

Coordinate with Laser Cutting, Welding, and Quality departments for smooth production flow.

Required Skills Experience in Erumac and Hindustan CNC Press Brake programming.

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.

Knowledge of tooling selection and machine setup.

Familiarity with MS, SS, Aluminium, and other sheet materials.

Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / BE Mechanical.

2–5 years of experience in CNC Press Brake Programming & Operation.
