Role & responsibilities

Job Summary The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving business growth, managing field operations, leading the sales and collection team, expanding the FBO (Food Business Operator) network, and ensuring productive UCO (Used Cooking Oil) collection. The role requires solid leadership, route planning, customer relationship management, and operational compliance to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Collection Executives (CEs) to achieve business and collection targets.
Plan and optimize sales and collection routes to ensure maximum market coverage and operational efficiency.
Develop and expand the FBO database, ensuring complete market penetration and onboarding of new customers.
Build and maintain robust relationships with key FBOs, vendors, key accounts, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor field operations, conduct on-the-job training, and ensure adherence to company policies, ethics, and service standards.
Ensure timely lead follow-up,



customer issue resolution, and retention of existing FBOs.
Maintain operational records, including UCO traceability, stock reports, transport documentation, petty cash, vehicle documents, and depot records.
Monitor team performance, ensure discipline, and drive continuous business growth through regular field visits and coaching.
Travel as required to support business expansion and depot operations.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 9 to 12 years of sales experience, with at least 8 years in team management, preferably in the HoReCa, FMCG, Food, or Hospitality sector.
Solid knowledge of business development, client relationship management, and field operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel extensively and work in field operations.
