Role Description This is a full-time, in office Back End Developer role based in Gurugram.

The Back End

Developer will design, implement, and maintain server-side components that power OptionX’s trading stack, including APIs, data processing pipelines, and integration services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, optimizing system performance and reliability, and collaborating with front-end and DevOps teams to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving code quality through reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions for scalable trading systems.

Qualifications
Strong back-end web development skills,



with experience building and maintaining server-side applications and services.
Solid software development foundations, including working with modern development tools, version control, and testing practices.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and the ability to design modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
Understanding of front-end development concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with front-end engineers for API and integration design.
Robust programming skills in one or more relevant languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar), with a focus on performance and reliability.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases; familiarity with message queues and caching is beneficial.
Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability architectures, preferably in financial or real-time data environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work in office in Gurugram, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
