The Body Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the automotive body shop, ensuring high-quality collision repairs, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves managing technicians, coordinating repair workflows, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the body shop.
Plan, schedule, and monitor repair work to ensure timely completion.
Supervise body technicians, painters, estimators, and support staff.
Review repair estimates and ensure accuracy of labor, parts, and material costs.
Monitor repair quality and ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers regarding repair approvals and progress.
Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Monitor productivity, efficiency, and profitability through key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage inventory of parts, paint,



and consumables to minimize waste and control costs.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate body shop employees.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper utilization of shop resources.
Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
5–8 years of experience in automotive body shop or collision repair operations, including supervisory experience.
Solid knowledge of collision repair processes, painting, welding, and vehicle structural repairs.
Experience with insurance claim procedures and repair estimation systems.
Proficiency in workshop management software and Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license (preferred).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
