Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral competency)

Must Have :
Strong experience with BMC TrueSight Operations Management
Should know how to perform installation,Upgrade,integration,Administration,configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later)
Solid experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows,RHEL,AIX,Solaris OS
Experience in working on knowledge modules like DB,Websphere,Exchange,Sentry hardware,Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS,LOG,URL
Must have working knowledge of custom KMs
Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server compoenent issues
Strong Experience in Event Management policy Administration,configuration
Experience in Design & implementation of integration solutions with 3rd party tools for event & performance management
Experience with TrueSight-Remedy ITSM integration, troubleshooting,enhancements
Working knowledge of MRLs,custom classes




Hands-on experience in configuring & designing reports using TSOM Smart reporting, OOTB TrueSight reports
Experience in Analyzing workplace & event data to fine tune & reduce instance, event count
Ability to review,analyze,fine tune & enhance TrueSight architecture & its components as per growing infrastructure & customer requirements
Experience with Patrol Central,RT,Console server,PCM components
Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS,Virtualization
Hands on experience on BMC Helix and upgrades/ Migrations.

Good to Have :
Infrastructure knowledge on Operating system and Database
Valuable communication skills set, Understand and explicit communication to the business on impact of major incidents
Excellent problem analysis skill set
