Job Title: Production / Quality Control Executive API Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production / QC Executive with 1–3 years of experience in API manufacturing. The candidate will support production operations and quality control activities while ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production:
Perform API manufacturing activities as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filters, and other production equipment.
Record production data accurately and maintain batch documentation.
Follow cGMP, EHS, and quality compliance requirements.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and QC teams for sampling and batch release activities.
Report process deviations, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervisors.
Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area.

Quality Control (QC):
Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples,



and finished API products.
Conduct routine chemical analysis using laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, and pH Meter.
Prepare reagents, standard solutions, and maintain laboratory records.
Ensure all testing complies with SOPs, pharmacopeial standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Support laboratory investigations, calibration, and documentation activities.
Maintain Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP) and data integrity.

Required Qualifications:
B.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or a related qualification.
1–3 years of experience in API manufacturing or pharmaceutical QC.
Valuable understanding of cGMP, GLP, GDP, and SOP compliance.
Basic knowledge of production equipment and analytical laboratory instruments.
Robust communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of API manufacturing processes.
Experience with HPLC, GC, UV, and other analytical instruments.
Understanding of regulatory requirements (USFDA, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP is an advantage).
Good documentation and record-keeping practices.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
