Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers (part time, remote) is responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that advance Festo India’s education and outreach initiatives. This role involves recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and coordinating assignments, and maintaining transparent communication with volunteers and internal stakeholders. The coordinator prepares and delivers volunteer training materials, provides ongoing guidance, and ensures volunteers have the information and resources they need for successful engagement.

Additional tasks include tracking participation, gathering feedback, and supporting community outreach campaigns and online events aligned with Festo India’s programs. The position requires regular remote collaboration through digital tools and flexible availability to accommodate volunteer schedules.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training, including recruitment, onboarding, and support of volunteers.





Robust Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build positive relationships and convey information clearly in virtual settings.

Experience with Community Outreach, program coordination, or stakeholder engagement in nonprofit, educational, or corporate social responsibility environments.

Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple volunteer activities and meet deadlines independently.

Comfort using digital collaboration tools (e.g., email, video conferencing, project management platforms) for remote coordination.

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Prior experience coordinating volunteers for training, education, or technical programs is an advantage.
