WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, in a speech on the House floor (link is external) , Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02) corrected President Trump’s false claims on wind energy.
“The best way to cut electricity rates for consumers is to expand energy supply. And as the rest of the world recognizes, wind has to be part of that solution,” Courtney said. “Mr. Speaker, the only ‘suckers’ in this area are policymakers in Washington who are spouting off blatantly false narratives about the value of wind energy.”
