Role Description The Composites Manufacturing Engineer / Materials & Process Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. The role involves developing, validating, and optimizing composite manufacturing processes for unmanned aerial systems, including lay-up, curing, bonding, and finishing operations.

Daily tasks include preparing and updating process documentation, collaborating with design and production teams, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues on the shop floor.



The engineer will conduct materials and process trials, support mechanical testing of components, and analyze failures to improve reliability and performance. The position also entails working with suppliers on material specifications, ensuring quality and consistency in composite materials, and supporting continuous improvement in throughput, cost, and product quality.

Qualifications
Ability to integrate materials science with manufacturing engineering, including process development, optimization, and quality control.
Experience with composite manufacturing techniques (e.g., hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, RTM, prepreg processing, autoclave/oven curing) and related equipment.
Familiarity with CAD tools and basic design-for-manufacture principles for composite structures.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in a multidisciplinary team.
Industry experience in aerospace, UAVs, or high-performance composite products is an advantage.
