Role Description The Creative Content Writer & Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for planning, writing, and editing engaging content for websites, blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media platforms. The person in this position will develop and execute social media strategies, manage content calendars, coordinate post scheduling, and monitor performance metrics across channels.

Daily tasks include conducting research on industry trends and target audiences, collaborating with design and marketing teams on campaigns, maintaining brand voice and consistency, and optimizing content for SEO and audience engagement. The role also involves responding to online community interactions,



testing recent content formats, and recommending improvements based on analytics.

Qualifications

Solid Web Content Writing and general Writing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling, and brand-aligned content.

Experience in Content Strategy and Research to plan topics, understand audiences, and support data-driven campaigns.

Excellent Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.

Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), including content scheduling and performance tracking.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search and user engagement.

Proficiency with social media and content tools (such as scheduling tools, CMS platforms, and analytics dashboards).

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced agency environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Prior experience in a digital marketing agency or similar workplace is preferred.
