Responsibilities Prepare and serve premium hot, cold and signature chocolate beverages to the highest quality standards. Create handcrafted luxury chocolates including pralines, bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars and seasonal collections. Develop innovative beverage and chocolate recipes using premium couverture chocolate and high-quality ingredients.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portioning across all products. Temper chocolate and perform moulding, filling, enrobing and finishing techniques. Maintain SOPs for recipes, production and quality control.
Train and mentor junior chocolate baristas and production staff. Manage inventory of chocolate, ingredients and packaging materials while minimising wastage. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
Work closely with the Founder to introduce new products, festive collections and limited-edition menus. Maintain a clean, organised and productive production and beverage preparation area.
Monitor customer feedback and continuously improve product quality and presentation.
Required Skills &
Qualifications 3 years of experience in chocolate making, pastry, luxury confectionery or premium beverage preparation. Solid knowledge of couverture chocolate, tempering and confectionery techniques.
Experience in preparing premium hot and cold chocolate beverages. Passion for innovation, flavour development and product presentation. Ability to maintain consistent quality in a quick-paced environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in premium chocolateries, luxury cafés, boutique dessert brands or five-star hotels. Knowledge of coffee preparation is an added advantage. Formal training or certification in chocolate, pastry or culinary arts is preferred.
