We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer / Drafter to support our Oil & Gas engineering team. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings, with a strong focus on large-scale plant drawing updates and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to work independently in a quick-paced workplace. Key Responsibilities
Develop and produce accurate 2D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications
Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;)
Interpret and convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings
Maintain and revise existing plant drawings as part of large-scale update projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines
Manage multiple tasks and deliverables concurrently while meeting deadlines
Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
Robust ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
Close attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Oil & Gas or process industries
Hands-on experience with P&ID; design and standards
