Role Description This is a full-time, in office role located in Jamshedpur for a CAD Designer specializing in modeling, sheet metal press tool design, and CAM design. The role involves creating and revising detailed 2D and 3D models for automotive and industrial components, as well as developing sheet metal press tool designs that meet manufacturing and quality requirements.

The professional will prepare accurate technical and construction drawings, generate CAM programs for machining operations, and coordinate with design engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications. Daily tasks include reviewing project requirements, optimizing designs for cost and efficiency,



updating documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support smooth fabrication and machining processes.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing, with the ability to interpret and create detailed engineering diagrams.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling of mechanical and sheet metal components.
Experience with Construction Drawings, including layout, assembly, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing.
Knowledge of Design Engineering principles applied to sheet metal press tools, automotive components, and heavy fabrication.
Hands-on experience with CAM software for toolpath generation and CNC machining programming is highly beneficial.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, materials (especially sheet metal), and quality standards.
Ability to work accurately, meet project timelines, and collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Prior experience in automotive, heavy fabrication, or industrial manufacturing settings is an advantage.
