We are looking for a data-driven Category Manager to own end-to-end procurement, drive cost efficiencies, and manage vendor ecosystems. You will take charge of one of two key specializations:
Specialization 1: Commodities (Perishable & Non-Perishable)
Source sensitive, shelf-life-dependent F&B; commodities.
Leverage vendor networks (distributors, mandis, direct-to-farm) for high-quality raw materials.
Manage inventory tracking (FIFO/FEFO) and execute forward-buying strategies to protect margins.
Specialization 2: Packaging (Custom & Non-Custom)
Source paper, disposable, and highly customized branded packaging.
Develop current vendors for sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions.
Negotiate granular material costs (e.g., GSM, printing) while ensuring strict brand and food-safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles)
Drive rigorous commercial negotiations to optimize category margins.
Monitor vendor performance (OTIF, quality) and ensure uninterrupted supply continuity.
Collaborate with Warehouse, Finance, and Product teams for accurate demand planning.
What You Need
Experience: 3 to 5 years in Category Management or Strategic Sourcing (FMCG, F&B;, or E-commerce preferred).
Education: Minimum Bachelors degree (B.B.A, B.Com, B.Tech, etc.). MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is a solid plus.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, unit economics management, and solid MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) proficiency.
