Role Description The Cafe Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for overseeing daily cafe operations and ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role includes supervising staff, organizing shifts, and maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety.

The Cafe

Manager will manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor sales performance to meet revenue goals. Day-to-day tasks also involve handling guest inquiries and feedback, supporting promotional activities, and maintaining a clean,



comfortable, and welcoming environment. The role requires hands-on leadership, active presence on the floor, and effective communication with the core team and ownership.

Qualifications - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and positive guest experience.
Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, leading staff, and coordinating with vendors.
Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including menu offerings, hygiene standards, and basic F&B; cost awareness.
Experience in food service environments, with the ability to manage workflow during busy periods.
Sales skills to promote menu items, support upselling, and help achieve revenue targets.
Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management preferred.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of inventory management, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
