About Evil Onigiri

Evil Onigiri is a Japanese-inspired restaurant concept in Bangalore by Loudrthn Collective, built around bold flavours, a tight, focused menu, and a solid design-led brand experience. We are a small, high-standards team preparing for launch — every early hire will shape how we cook, serve, and grow.

The Role

As a Commis at Evil Onigiri, you will work hands-on across kitchen sections — prep, mise en place, and live service — in a small team where you'll learn quick and be trusted with real responsibility early. This is an ideal first or second job for a recent culinary graduate who wants depth of learning over a big-hotel badge.

Key Responsibilities
Complete daily prep and mise en place accurately and on time for your assigned section
Support the Chef de Partie during service — cooking, assembly, and plating to spec
Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards exactly and consistently
Keep your station clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and food safety norms
Assist with receiving, storage, labelling, and stock rotation (FIFO)
Learn continuously — techniques, ingredients,



and the discipline of a professional kitchen

What We're Looking For
Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of kitchen experience; hotel management / culinary students welcome
Genuine passion for cooking, with curiosity about Japanese food and ingredients
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to take direction and feedback
Physical stamina for kitchen shifts and a team-first attitude
Basic knife skills and hygiene awareness; formal culinary training is a plus, not a must
