We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data models. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling, along with a solid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise applications.
Create and maintain Star Schema and dimensional data models for data warehouse solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data modelling standards.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across data assets.
Optimize database structures and support performance tuning.
Review and enhance existing data models to improve scalability and maintainability.
Participate in data architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
Required Skills
Solid expertise in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modelling
Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modelling and Star Schema
Strong proficiency in SQL
Experience with data modelling tools such as ERwin and ER/Studio
Valuable understanding of relational databases, normalization, and denormalization techniques
Experience in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Data Vault modelling is a plus.
Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
