Prepare the endoscopy suite and required instruments before procedures.
Assist gastroenterologists and surgeons during endoscopic procedures.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories as per hospital infection control guidelines.
Ensure all endoscopy equipment is functioning properly before and after procedures.
Monitor and maintain stock of consumables used in the Endoscopy Unit.
Assist in patient preparation and post-procedure care under the supervision of nursing staff and consultants.
Maintain accurate documentation of equipment cleaning, disinfection, and procedure records.
Follow NABH standards, hospital policies, and infection control protocols.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with the biomedical engineering department when required.
