Job Title: Deputy Manager / Manager –

Reports To: Chief Finance Officer

Department: Finance & Accounting Job Purpose

You will independently manage the end-to-end books of accounts for our overseas insurance subsidiary. You will ensure accurate financial tracking, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of key financial statements. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheets, P&L; statements, and Cash Flow statements.

General Ledger: Oversee all ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

Subsidiary Management: Handle multi-currency accounting, foreign exchange adjustments, and translation gains/losses.

Insurance Accounting: Manage insurance-specific accounting entries including premiums, claims reserves, reinsurance assets, and commissions.





Compliance & Tax: Ensure strict adherence to local overseas tax regulations, statutory filings, and IFRS/GAAP standards.

Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors for the subsidiary.

Cash Management: Monitor daily cash flows, optimize working capital, and manage overseas banking relationships.

Required

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Skilled certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly preferred.

Experience: 3–7 years of core accounting experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced level MS Excel skills.
