Role & responsibilities
Execute and supervise electrical engineering activities in accordance with government standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Plan, install, test, commission, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
Prepare technical reports, estimates, BOQs, drawings, and project documentation as required.
Coordinate with government officials, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, electrical safety standards, and departmental guidelines.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor contractors' work quality and verify measurements, bills, and project deliverables.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and maintenance work.
Support project planning, execution, and completion within approved timelines and budgets.
Use engineering software and MS Office for documentation, reporting, and project management.
Follow organizational policies while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.





Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in Government, PSU, infrastructure, or public sector projects.
Robust knowledge of electrical systems, installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
Familiarity with electrical safety standards, government regulations, and statutory compliance.
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred) for documentation and reporting.
Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with government officials, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
Willingness to travel to project sites whenever required.
Must be self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering quality work.
