Role & responsibilities
Diagnose generator differential trip, Perform IR & PI interpretation, identify hotspots using thermography, synchronization, analyze relay logs, plan breaker maintenance, evaluate transformer oil reports, prepare shutdown plan, perform RCA
Generator maintenance including testing and synchronization with grid
Knowledge of Generator Protection Relays and Protection Classes.
Knowledge Of Import/Export power during synchronization.
Basic knowledge of AVR operations & testing.
Knowledge of Critical spare parts related to Generator & Generator panels.
Knowledge of LASCPT & NGR panel operations.
Generator/transformer/feeder protection, relay settings, coordination
VCB, SF6, ACB, maintenance, contact resistance, timing, interlocks
Oil tests, DGA, BDV, Furan, OLTC, cooling
Termination, jointing, IR, VLF, Hi-Pot, PD
Thermography, vibration, ultrasonic, MCA
RCA of trips, overheating, earth faults
LOTO, PTW, arc flash, earthing, switching
PM, PdM, CMMS, shutdown planning
Relays, transformers, HT switchgear, generators, motors, safety, predictive maintenance, shutdowns, RCA, IEC/IEEE
