Job Responsibilities & Duties o
Design & Development o
Recent product development.
o
Work closely with draftsmen/engineers by providing necessary guidance & approval to them during drafting activity of machines o
Discuss & clarify drawing related issues with our manufacturing teams & vendors as and when needed.
o
Discuss requirements with customers to provide solutions as per their requirement o
Travel to different places for studying machines for recent product development.

Routine Responsibilities o
Ensures that all functions of the design department are functioning properly and all project are completed on time.
o
Continuously focus on reducing cost – Selecting right material, reducing cutting allowance, reducing machining, etc o
Maintaining & updating drawing records for all the machines drawings created & handed for manufacturing o
Work closely with manufacturing team for any design modifications or manufacturing activity related support.
o
Point of contact for manufacturing team for design department.
o
Time to time reporting to management for work planning.
o
Guiding draftsmen in design activities & supervise all activities of draftsmen.
o
Implement 5S, TQM process improvements in machine drawing activity o
Act as a change agent & continuously focus on time reduction, resource optimization to speed up the machine manufacturing activity & improve performance.
o
Any other relevant duty as assigned by the Management. Duties to be updated time to time depending on company’s requirement.
