We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to design, implement, and support enterprise database settings. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Linux/Unix, and database performance tuning. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, backup and recovery, and optimal database performance while supporting mission-critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise database environments.
Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
Plan, execute, and support database installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches.
Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Create and maintain operational scripts for database automation.
Implement database security best practices and ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, GLBA, FDIC, and internal policies.




Support change management activities and ensure minimal business impact during deployments.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable database solutions.
Provide documentation, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
Participate in on-call production support as required.

Required Skills:
6+ years of experience in Database Administration.
Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
Robust knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Understanding of networking fundamentals and database security.
