Responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization of Electrical & Electronics commodities to support current product development and ongoing production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure E&E; components including Wiring Harness, EMS commodities like Switches, Sensors, Controllers, BMS, Motors, etc.
Evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capability.
Drive cost reduction initiatives, VA/VE activities, and long-term sourcing strategies.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Planning teams for technical alignment and timely deliveries.
Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs for sourcing decisions.
Negotiate terms,
contracts, and pricing with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-chain issues proactively.
Should be responsible for Global Sources like for Active and Passive components, should dealt with China and Asia suppliers
Knowledge on Import Inco terms
Skills Required:
Solid technical understanding of E&E; components.
Valuable negotiation and analytical skills.
Supplier development and sourcing strategy experience.
Knowledge of cost breakdowns and commodity trends.
