Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitor data center workplace and infrastructure including servers, storage devices, network equipment, power, cooling, and physical security systems.
Perform routine checks on data center hardware and physical infrastructure (racks, cabling, power supplies, UPS, generators).
Respond to alerts, alarms, and incidents related to data center equipment and environmental systems.
Coordinate equipment installations, moves, adds, and changes (MACs) following documented procedures.
Assist in hardware troubleshooting by performing initial diagnostics and escalating complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of data center inventory, equipment status, and operational logs.
Ensure compliance with data center security policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Assist with physical access control to the data center, ensuring proper authorization and visitor management.
