Role & responsibilities The Draftsman cum Civil Engineer is responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, assisting in the planning and execution of civil construction projects, and ensuring that all designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements. The role combines technical drafting skills with civil engineering knowledge to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other drafting software.
Develop architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings based on project specifications.
Assist in planning, designing, and supervising civil construction projects.
Prepare quantity estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and material take-offs.
Conduct site visits, measurements,



and inspections to verify project progress and drawing accuracy.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients regarding design and construction issues.

Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Certification or training in AutoCAD or other drafting software is preferred.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software.
Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
Ability to prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
