Job Summary The Junior QC Engineer is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. The role requires attention to detail, proper documentation, and coordination with production to minimise defects and improve product quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesIncoming Quality Inspection

Inspect incoming raw materials and bought-out components.

Verify material specifications against purchase orders and drawings.

Prepare incoming inspection reports.

Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.

In-Process Quality Inspection

Conduct stage-wise inspections during production.

Ensure products comply with approved drawings and specifications.





Monitor critical dimensions and functional parameters.

Report quality issues immediately to the Production Supervisor.

Final Inspection

Perform final inspection before dispatch.

Verify appearance, dimensions, functionality, and packaging.

Approve products for dispatch after successful inspection.

Documentation

Maintain inspection records and quality reports.

Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.

Update quality checklists and inspection formats.

Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
