Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to clarify objectives and desired outcomes.

Process Mapping: Analyze and map existing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas where BI can add value.

Solution Evaluation: Work with BI developers and architects to evaluate solutions provided and ensure business requirements are met

Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis, leveraging statistical and visualization tools to validate data driven opportunities. Assess when its appropriate to pass data analysis activities to data researchers.

Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation of requirements, process flows, data models, and solution specifications.

Testing and Validation: Support the testing of BI solutions, verifying that deliverables meet business requirements before deployment.

Stakeholder Communication: Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a transparent, concise manner. Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to ensure understanding and buy-in, in coordination with the product owner.

Continuous Improvement:



Recommend process enhancements and support initiatives to improve data quality and analytical capabilities within the organization.

Domain Expertise: Build domain expertise across various capabilities within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.

Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Proficiency in scrum activities maintained in tools such as DevOps, Jira, etc.

2+ years of experience in financial and commercial reporting basics.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced setting.
