Key Responsibilities
Handle complete

Current Product Development (NPD)

from customer enquiry to PPAP approval.
Study customer drawings and prepare feasibility reports

.
Coordinate with customers for technical clarification, drawing changes and development activities.
Develop manufacturing process for pipe bending, end forming, welding, piercing, slotting and assembly

.
Prepare and maintain

PPAP documents

(APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, PSW, MSA, SPC).
Create and maintain

BOM (Bill of Material)

and

Part Master in ERP.
Prepare process sheets, operation standards and work instructions.
Coordinate with Tool Room for bending dies, fixtures, gauges and checking fixtures development.
Plan and monitor sample development, trial runs and customer submissions

.
Ensure dimensional and fitment validation of developed parts.
Handle

ECN/ECR

drawing revisions and engineering changes.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Planning departments for smooth product development.
Support

SOP (Start of Production)

and resolve development-related issues.
Maintain development records, timelines and project status.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of

Tube/Pipe Bending, MIG/TIG Welding, End Forming, Tube Fabrication & Assembly

.
Valuable understanding of

PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA & SPC

.
Experience in

BOM Creation, Part Creation (ERP)

.
Ability to read

2D drawings and GD&T;

.
Knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks (preferred).
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
