Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager Operations to lead our Bangalore operations, driving excellence across Robotics, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Project Delivery. The role requires a strategic leader capable of managing end-to-end operations, building high-performing teams, and ensuring successful execution of automation projects while achieving business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA in Operations/General Management is preferred.
12 to 18 years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrial automation, robotics, machine building, or capital equipment industries.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing plant or operations functions.
Proven experience in end-to-end operations management, including manufacturing, engineering, project execution, supply chain coordination,



and customer delivery.
Solid exposure to robotics, factory automation, system integration, automated production lines, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale operations while driving productivity, quality, and cost optimization.
Experience in customer-facing project execution, commissioning, and stakeholder management.
Solid commercial understanding with exposure to budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and operational performance management.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and people management skills.
Experience working in multinational organizations or global manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
