We want the next generation of researchers, doctors, geneticists and project managers to come and study or work with us!
The John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research
Centre runs Sixth Form Open Days where local A-level students can come and experience a day in the life of our team. We hope they are inspired by the ground-breaking work that goes on!
We offer hands-on experiments and mini-lectures. There is the chance to discuss rare neuromuscular diseases with people who live with them every day, the doctors who treat them and the researchers who are trying to find better therapies.
