Interior Designer Job Description

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: Fresher to 2 Years

Key Responsibilities
Develop store layouts, floor plans, and interior design concepts
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and design presentations
Assist in retail store design, renovation, and fit-out projects
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project execution
Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
Ensure designs align with brand standards and customer experience goals
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications
Support visual merchandising and store ambience enhancement initiatives

Requirements
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Fresher to 2 years of experience in interior design projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray,



or similar design software
Knowledge of space planning, materials, and retail design concepts
Positive communication and coordination skills
Willingness to travel for site visits when required

Creativity and attention to detail
Robust visualization and presentation skills
Basic project management and vendor coordination knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail workplace
